Fancy Vintage is founded by Bastian from the Netherlands. We specialize in finding, restoring and offering original vintage design. The period we specialize in ranges from the late 40's to the early 90's. All items we receive is cleaned, checked and carefully restored. If necessary, lights are rewired and switches, fittings and plugs are replaced.
All lamps and other vintage items we sell are in good to excellent condition. You must realize that the lamps are 30 to 70 years old and may have minor irregularities that fit the life that these lamps have had.
In case of serious damage it may be that the lamp is provided with a new layer of lacquer. If this is the case, it is always mentioned in the description of our lamps. Of damage that catches the eye, a picture is always shown.
Sometimes the lamp is too far gone and must be considered lost. The usable parts are then dismantled and reused. Similarly, our restored design lighting features original, vintage parts as much as possible.
